I have 2 bala sharks in a 29 gallon tank will they eat my convict babies cichlids they are 1/2". The shark are 3" and 6".

However, I don't think they'll eat your convict babies; they're too big already.

Don;t you have the parents?
They'll certainly protect them ...

my fathers old bala sharks were massive, around 1.8 feet each. he had i think 3-4 in a 350gallon, just to let u know, the balas will need a larger tank. but i don't think they would eat the baby convicts.

bala shark in a 29g tank/?its way too small for it..these guys need much more swimming space

Your bala Sharks will inevitably require a
tank 90G (5 foot) or larger when your sharks get
bigger (1 year max)
They can become stunted, nervous, and
suffer anxiety attacks in a small tank (usually resulting in either the fish flipping out of the tank, or shattering the glass).
Yes, they will eat Fry. It is not meanness,
it is in their nature, as in most fishes nature,
to eat fry.
