My WCMM tank is on the kitchen counter and has a pebble substrate, so rather than gravel vac I just use the suction tube to clean & water change directly into the sink.

At the same time I have a bucket filling with water to replace. I wasn't paying attention and found one of my red long finned WCMMs stuck to the side of the sink after I was finished No movement, even after I added some water.

I figured it was a loss so I rinsed the sink and started cleaning my other 5g. Big surprise when I took out the strainer and when rinsing the sink again up floated the white cloud, ALIVE

That was a week ago and it's still doing great, no problems once it was back in the tank. Definitely hardy fish

WCMM are one tough fish plus they're really cool.
