If it's just the best spot to hang out in the tank, they very much could just stay there for a long time. Also, some fish have areas of the tank that they prefer, even though they are not nessesarilly territorial. My Rubber-Lipped Pleco wouldnt go more then a few inches away from my filter for awhile, after a few weeks he got a little more comfortable and explores the rest of the tank. Just give it a little time and he should come out. Inky |
