yesterday morning I was shocked to see one of my perl danio missing from the tank. It was there earlier day and even feeding happily. I donno what whent wrong. The water parameters were fine and other fish are doing great. I still can't figure out how the danio died and there is not a single trace of it. I even siphoned the gravel and did a 30% water change... but no clue atall!!!
I have a fantail goldfish 2.5" in the same 30 g with 2 swrdtails and 2 more danios. I know i should have kept a shoal of danios.
has anyone come accross a similar problem?

I checked out side the tank. He cant possibly jump bcas the tank was properly covered and the filter openings are not that big either.
One thing was sure that it was constantly chased by other 2 perls which mite have caused him to just give up.....
I will now shift the goldi to a bigger tank.
