| | rosy barb question |
| apologeticus Fingerling Posts: 27 Kudos: 28 Votes: 0 Registered: 28-Aug-2004 | I've noticed that some of the rosy barbs in my lfs have longer flowing fins, while others look more "normal." Why is this? Is it a male/female distinction? If so, which is which? |

Sometimes fish with longer fins (longfinned danios, gourami, angelfish, bettas) have a tendency to nip other fish's fins... PM/email/msg me if you have any questions/comments regarding me or my knowledge or if you want me to read a thread. |

However, sometimes longfinned fish may be a little nippy, the problem is usually the other fish finding food in them. |
