I've noticed in the last few days that a couple of my Harlequin Rasboras are acting strange. I am wondering if they are trying to breed. What are some of the "signs" I should be looking for to determine whether or not this is happening. Thanks all!

well..the male is dancing, trembling in front of the female, nudging the females side, rubbing his belly to the females back. The female will turn upside down and rub her belly against the underside of a leaf, signaling the male to join her.

I know human beings and fish can co-exist peacefully.

What about the eggs? are they noticable? Will I see them or just eventually see fry swimming around. I'm pretty sure my Harlies are at least trying to breed. I just haven't seen any signs that it has actually happened.

Rasboras generally spawn on the undersides of broad-leaved plants. After spawning remove the parents (its important to remove them straight away because they will eat the eggs),and keep the aquarium dark until the (70-200)eggs hatch..(after about 24-30 hours)
Hope this is to help.

Actually i'm not interested in them breeding, I was just curious if they were. So I guess if they are eating the eggs anyways, I don't have to worry about a sudden increase in my Rasbora population! Thanks for the help Robby
