what kind of fish is it? | |
ladiejl Big Fish Posts: 492 Kudos: 204 Votes: 23 Registered: 27-Feb-2003 | I bought what I was told were Brillant Rasboras. However, all the pics I have saw on the net of BR's do not look like the fish I have. The fish I have look like the main pic on the profile of a yellow tetra but this fish has no yellow on it. It is silver/white, very shy, has a faint white outline on its fins. It does not have a dark line through its middle like the pics of the BR's I have saw. I looked all through all of the fish on here and cannot find anything like them. The body and fins are most like the yellow tetra. They also do the "jerk" thing like tetras do. Any ideas?? |

ladiejl Big Fish Posts: 492 Kudos: 204 Votes: 23 Registered: 27-Feb-2003 | Thanks but no. This fish is SOLID white/silver. I could try a pic but I doubt it will be clear enough to tell. I will try. It looks just like a yellow tetra without any yellow. Or a diamond tetra with regular fins. The diamond tetra on here in the profiles, in the main pic, looks just like my fish. However, the additional pic of the diamond tetras have fins that are longer than my fish. Im going w yellow or diamond. Maybe they are just too young to show their full finage or colors yet.
