i saw a fish at the lfs and it was golden very bright gold and a LITTLE transparent they were schooling toghtly and they were listed as gold rasoboras ive looked on google and cant find nething i dont thinki the real name is gold rasobora and ideas or info?

Try looking at pictures of Trigonostigma heteromorpha sometimes mis-labeled as Rasbora heteromorpha. It is commonly sold as a golden Rasbora. Here are a few links of them:

I agree, it sounds like the golden version of the harlequin rasbora. They are becoming quite popular nowadays, and so can be found in more and more stores. We get them in regularly at work, and they're fairly good sellers.

nope thats not them sorry thee are just solid gold no markings and theyre gold is alot brighter and is almost yellow trhanks for the help though

Sure they were a Rasbora? When I think of a small tightly schooling gold/clear fish I think of the Golden tetra, hemmigrammus rodwayi:

they werent small like a neon tetra they were bigger the size od harlequens
