Brackish water is fine with alot of rocks and wood and stuff to let them get out of the tank. Some crab tanks have a foot of water with 3-5 rocks and pieces of wood for them to crawl out of. Others have an inch of water with huge rock formations. It's your call, they will be fine either way. As for food, they make pellets for them. If you can't find that, hermit crab food works too. |

djtj Fish Master Posts: 1764 Kudos: 885 Votes: 49 Registered: 20-Feb-2003 | Heck yeah! You could easily have 20 in a 20 gallon, moreso if it's a long. You could have bb gobies easily in there. Probably some of the bigger livebearers (mollies, platies) if there is deep enough water. But I would suggest sticking to the 10 gallon In a 20, you can do alot of freshwater diversity. I would be iffy to devoting it to crabs, as they are less active than most fish. But it's up to you |

In a 10 gallon, I would go with five crabs and seven gobies. I'm not your neighbor, you Bakersfield trash. |
