RLHam3 Fingerling Posts: 44 Kudos: 34 Votes: 0 Registered: 20-Mar-2008 | hey i got a GSP yesterday and put a few snails in the aquarium and he's been biting them and stuff, but after he lets them go they're fine. im not really sure if he's trying to eat them and can't or is just messing with them. i just got those little snails from my LFS. does this sound right? |

brandeeno Mega Fish Posts: 929 Kudos: 636 Registered: 13-Sep-2007 | snails shouldnt be the only thing you feed your puffer. you should also feed him blood worms and other live worms or shrimp (preferably not baby shrimp, but ghost or glass shrimp are fine). he will eventually get to the point where he will decimate those snails... he will learn how to do it his way... so let him pick and etc, but also make sure he is eating things to get the nutrition he needs. \\\\\\\"an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of the cure\\\\\\\" |
