Anthonym Fingerling Posts: 21 Kudos: 21 Votes: 0 Registered: 16-Aug-2005 | i have 5 brachish creen spotted puffers, i read somewhere on this site that they will some day turn in to full salt water fish, is this true, and is there any way to prevent this from happening |

Are you aware that they will need 30gal each, and as they age they don't tolerate tankmates vey well. You could put 2 in a 55gal. On the other hand, if they're kept in a proper environment at the proper stocking level, they can and will live 15-20 years. At 1-3 inches they need mid-level brackish water, 1.010 SG.
