Some general points though, you're going to want to use a marine salt, not "aquarium" salt. You'll also want to pick up a good hydrometer to measure the amount of salt in the water. Assuming he is in freshwater now, you'll want to raise the specific gravity slowly, by no more than .002 per week to protect the biological filter. HTH |
