im getting a custom made square aquarium but i dont know what would be good dimensions for a tank with

tiger datnoid
archer fish
moray eel
needlefish
pufferfish
columbian shark
dragon gobie
asian knife fish

i was thinking around 25Hx50Wx50L would this be to short for the datnoid?

That is far too small for most of those fish on their own, much less together....and that dragon goby needs to be kept a lot cooler than most of those others.

For that lot together, start thinking along the lines of 96"L x 54"W x 48"H (1100G) or better.

Well, I'm of the opinion that Toirtis is aboout as well-informed as they come on matter of big fish and oddballs - you'd be very, very safe to trust his opinion. Sorry, but big fish are big fish, and they need SPACE.

Pufferfish should be kept in a species only tank. What kind were you considering?
