I just can't stand folks giving total misinformation to someone who doesn't know any better. I'd hate for any fish to suffer because they listened. In answer to your origional question, if you are definately interested in only BW, then your best bet are figure 8 puffers (tetraodon biocellatus). I have a 29g with 3 F8s, 4 knight & 8 bumblebee gobies. It is quite an interesting tank & everyone gets along great. I keep the SG at around 1.008-10. Here's a great article on them: http://www.aaquaria.com/aquasource/8puffer.shtml Why not join us over at my puffersite, http://www.thepufferforum.com, for some friendly, factual, pufferadvice? People have different ways of taking care of different aquarium setups. My way may be different than yours. If it works, it works. anyway, just to add, pufferpunk was the only person to get the salinity right. R.O. water is 1, not 0.001: proof Pure water has a density of 1.000 [span class="edited"][Edited by Racso 2004-08-13 21:10][/span] |

Now you're just talking foolish! ] What in ther world is the purpose of keeping these FW fish in BW anyway? |

Start with a .002 sal. and slowly bring it up with 20% water changes every 7-10 days. In my experience I found that they love frozen blood worms, and brine. When they get a bit bigger you can feed them small ghost shrimp. I just started and they hit it before it goes to the substrate. Good luck, Bracguy81:88) |
