10 Gallon Tank Going Small This Time | |
riri1 Fish Addict Posts: 537 Kudos: 435 Votes: 44 Registered: 04-Mar-2005 | i wanna know if a banjo cat can go in a 10 gallon tank or a 20 its kinda for a thing in the dinning room/off in a corner so i can feed samll fish its gona be a small preditory tank. |

brandeeno Mega Fish Posts: 929 Kudos: 636 Registered: 13-Sep-2007 | i would say no. first of all a 29 is a small preditory tank... i would say a thirty or fourty would be better, but why would you want a peditory tank in your dining room as well... they tend to be dirtier and smellier... not the kind of thing house guests enjoy. but, a nice twety with maybe three or four small cichlids (maybe labs or etc) would be nice. just a thought. superlion Mega Fish Posts: 1246 Kudos: 673 Votes: 339 Registered: 27-Sep-2003 | About the only really good predatory fish you can fit in a 10 is one of the Badis species. The largest of them gets to about 4" long. They're also not really speedy or active swimmers, so a 10 is appropriate. ><> |
