What is your pH and water hardness?

Look at this, all the threads made about 10 gallons, maybe it'll give you some ideas...

Before I suggest some setups, I need to ask something.
What are you doing with the fish you currently have in this tank?

FLUSHUNG THEM of course. Lol, no im kidding. I'll be giving them to the pet store. I dont know anything about my pH and hardness... never felt the need to test it. Anyways my fish are fine, just want something new.

Don't you think that's a little harsh giving your fish away just because you are tired of them?

OK, it's good to hear you will return them istead of just flushing.

As for restocking your tank, I'd go with either Killies or Endlers. Both are very colorful(at least the males are) and different looking than most freshwater fish. The only problem, you might not be able to find either in a store. You will probable have to order them online, if you really want them. That's actually the reason I don't have either of them yet.

man the killies are beautiful... hope they sell for cheap lol. probably not though. I just bought 2 ottos today and gave some of my old fish fish to a friend and the others to a pet store. the algae eater that died earlier was a CAE. The ottos are doing great! I'm on my way to a great setup. Thanks for your help!

I've decided on getting some dwarf puffers... I'm getting the snails ready and am waiting for PetSmart to get some DPs. They look pretty cool.
