"4 red platys 8 silver mollys 2 silver dollars 2 honey gouramis 1 blue gourami 1 red tailed shark 1 silver shark 1 bristlenose plec 1 sailfin plec 1 female fighter 1 zebra danio 2 white clouds" the tank is too small to have all these fish in there in a 15 gal, however it is big enough to accomodate more than just 3 1 inch fish like danios and white clouds. silver dollars however will grow far too large for it an they prefer to school like all tetra. i have no idea what the one after the red tailed shark is meant to be?? what type of shark? compatability wise mollies, platies, gouramis, zebra danios, white clouds and a male/female(either, not both) fighter should be fine together should be fine together. i would only put one of the bottom feeders in however, the red tail shark especially can become territorial and aggressive toward other bottom dwellers. gouramis should be fine together except blue gouramis have been known to be territorial against other gouramis though most usually other blue gouramis. also danios and white clouds are schooling fish and you might think of putting them into schools of atleast 6. you might consider, 1 gourami, 1 red shark, 1 school of danio or clouds (6-8). or 4-6 platies/mollies and 6-8 danios or clouds you could also replace a gourami, a shark, 3 danios/clouds or a mollie/platty with the female fighter. from a space and bioload point of view they are pretty much equivalent. whats the deal with the netsearch html?? |

I don't think a 15g is large enough for a shark, a blue gourami or silver dollars. If you do want gouramis, go with either a dwarf or a pair of honeys. With the livebearers it might be best to choose one a go with a larger group. Decide on appropriate sized fish for you tank, and if schoolers keep them in proper sized groups. Good luck. ~~~~~~~~~~~~ There is water at the bottom of the ocean |
