He's in a 5.5G by himself. Is it ok to just leave him as the only fish in there, or should I get a buddy for him. Another DP, or perhaps something else? What do you guys think. |

Maybe another one is your best bet. ~~~~~~~~~~~~ There is water at the bottom of the ocean |

When I first put it up I had 2 dwarf puffers and they seemed to get along OK. In literally a weeks time the slighty bigger one was always chacing the smaller one away. As this continued he also became very sick do to what seemed to be stress and not eating. When it was just the single puffer left he seemed much happier too. My recommendation would be to keep just the one. The 20 gallon tank was heavily planted and had glowlight tetras, silver hatchetfish, leopard cories, two otos, and tons of pesky pond snails. My puffer always had a lot going on in his tank and he was always very responsive to his environment. Most of all he loved hunting snails. |

I would just stay with one. You dont want to chance the one you have getting killed/the new one getting killed ![]() -kristin ![]() ~!!I lOve LiFe!!~ |
