IMO, the length of the tank should be at least 6 feet to house an arrowana. There is always a bigger fish... |

If it was a triangle the 2 short sides would be almost 6 feet and the long side over 8 feet. If it was 3 feet deep it's footprint would be about 11 square feet, it's short sides would be 4.7 feet and the long side over 6 feet. Hope this helps with the Arowana advice. Mike |

And you can add a/some plecos to the tank, as those fish will not bother them. There is always a bigger fish... |
