Stock: 2 One male and one female 3 spot gourami (Breeding Pair) 4 peppered corys 1 True SAE take just feels a little empty and wanted some suggestions on what to add. Don't really want any tetras. thanks! |

Then you'll have happier Corys for one thing. ![]() I'd be wary of adding anything more to that setup beyond the extra Peppered Corys though, because that collection will grow to a fair size. Your Gouramis will be 5 inches or so fully grown, the SAE will be 5 inches also, and the Peppered Corys will be 2½ inches each. Now if that was a 29 long, you'd have somewhat more room for manouevre, but a 29 tall places both restrictions on the 'real estate' at the bottom and surface area at the top. Once those fishes grow to a decent size, it won't look empty, believe me! ![]() |

They stay pretty small. By 29g tall, how tall is it? I know regular 29g are tall, but is yours taller than average? (I'm just seeing how much surface area you have) |
