I think BN s produce too much waste for a 29, and 3 would produce too much in a 55. Get 1 for the 55, and some ottos for the 29.

I've always had a BN in both my 29g and 30g. I think your 29g plan is fine, although I don't have personal experience with the rainbowfish.

so i can move my cichlids from my 55 to my 200

By that do you mean the 4 angels and 4 rams? If so my understanding is that would leave the tetras, BNs, cories, and ABF (which are...?) That's a lot of bottom feeders. If you were able to get sexable BNs you could try for a M/F pair and maybe have luck breeding them. Cories...maybe 10-12 total?

And what about the glasscats or are you no longer keeping them?

Sounds like I'm asking more questions than your original post, I just want to make sure of what's going on.

I would stick to only 2 types of cories. You could have 8 of two kinds. And only get 1 BN for the 55g. My BN produces so much waste in my 55g, I couldn't imagine having 3 to clean up after. Also, with your stocking, there are too many bottom feeders.

Also, 4 angelfish are too many for a 55g IMO. I would either go with 3 or just one. 4 would make your tank look incredibly small. And more than one just calls for trouble alot of the time. Another option is to wait until 2 pair off and keep them.

I have no experience with ABF's, but 4 seems like alot to me. Being cichlids...I would think that is too many, but like i said, I don't know anything about them.

If by moving the cichlids you mean the angels, ABF's, and rams, then that would be fine. You could leave one angel in the 55g and move the other 3.
If you moved those fish you could have another school of tetras.

The 29g looks fine to me too...the only problem I have is the yoyos. Mine are extremely active and like room to chase each other. I think a 29g is not long enough for their activity. They get a good 4 inches also, so IMO they are better in a bigger tank.
I suggest putting pandas in the 29g, instead of yoyos. You could have 10 of those guys. Then get the other two types of cories for your 55g. Or get one type of cory for the 55g and have the yoyos in there. They would be much happier. Give them a big piece of DW to play on and they will be even happier.

Sounds good. Just watch for aggression in the angels.

4 Angels & 6 Yoyo Loaches are alot for a 55 gal. tank.

Are you also going to keep 4 Angels in the 29 gal. tank?.

If possible I would stick to either 3 angels, or only one. I only have one in my 55g and when I added another, they got into it and the newer one died from stress.
I have just decided to only have one. My angel is the queen of the tank and doesn't want anyone else intruding.
One angel is fine. They can be kept alone and it may be better to only keep one...to cut out aggression.
