I plan on eventually having 6 cories, 2 german rams, and platies. My question is how many platies can I put in the tank. (Don't figure in platy fry because that will not be an issue Thanks Last edited by just_one_more at 07-Nov-2004 12:18 |

They don't get very big, and they aren't quite as active as swordtails. To be honest though, I don't like livebearers. Are you sure you want platies? |

That would depend on your filtration, water changes, etc. To some extent it depends on what you currently have in the way of males and females...just make sure your females outnumber the males at least 2 to 1. I think it sounds like a nice tank, I personally like livebearers ~~ ~~[/font] ~~~~~~~~~~~~ There is water at the bottom of the ocean |

Just jocking around. Everyone has there own likes and dislikes. I personally like most livebearers, except for the uncontrolled breeding. I'd also say 6-8 Platies would be good for that tank.
