I eventually will add 4 ottos. What else could I add? I would like to add a school of cardinal tetras but would the tank be overstocked? And what about a centerpiece fish? Any ideas? Thanks. Tetras add very little to a tank's bioload, so another school of them wouldn't be a problem. Cardinals are very nice looking too, I think they'd be a good choice. |

I wouldn't add any centerpiece fish, as they are almost always relatively larger fish. The cardinal tetras you want to add could be your centerpiece fish, they're very eye-catching. |

Just as ideas, just in case I decide not to put cardinals in, since it will take forever to get them. The lfs I get all my fish from, hasnt had them in a while. They're colorful and have great personalities, once they get used to their new home and stop hiding. It took mine about a week and a half to get brave and start showing off in the tank. If you go this route, IMO it would be safe to up one of your schools to 8. I'd suggest the corys, but it would be your choice. Just make suere you properly take care of the tank. Good luck |

A South American dwarf cichlid should work, with compatibility, and stocking. Rams are nice fish, just be aware that German rams tend to be delicate. |
