combo 1
2 corries
2 platties
combo 2
betta
2 corries

i deffo prob want corries but all the others i were in big groups. which ones wont mind having one friend.

Cories usually like around 5 gallons each, so i'd say you're not going to be able to have the cories. Unfortunately, there isn't much you can have in that small of a tank You could go with a few female bettas so spice it up Or killifish, or a betta and a few small dwarf frogs, or a trio of guppies...

How about getting some neon tetras. They'll look great.

If you want to keep the guppies with the betta however, you should keep three males as females have babies every
3-4weeks.

guppies will breed like they are crazy if you have both males and females
if you don't want them to breed, you can get some males only
guppies and bettas is not a good combination
it worked for me in my 15G with lots of plants
but in a 3 gallon, i can see tons of problem

try a few white clouds- heating would not be a problem, and they do look rather dashing when full grown.

I have two 3 gallon tanks with a betta in each. A small tank doesn't leave much room for error, so you're better off keeping as few fish as possible. Just make the tank look nice and it won't matter that there aren't so many fish in there.

Don't get cories because they do better in groups, and there's no way you could fit a decent group in there.

i would only put in a male fighting fish(betta) for that size tank and as stated before it is going to be very hard to heat up a tank like that.

I'm not sure white clouds would be a good idea. I don't think they would have enough room to swim the way they like. I think you're pretty much stuck with a betta.
