Angels cannot be kept with Serpaes. Serpaes are vicious fin nippers and will rip your angels fins to shreds. No angels with the Serpaes.

If you want to keep the Serpaes, increase the school and add the dwarf gourami. Maybe in a larger group they will be nice to your gourami.

Get the pair of rams and increase your cory school to 8 or 10...depending on what type they are. If they are small, increase to 10, if they are a larger type, only add 2 more.

So your stock would be:

10 Serpaes
1 dwarf gourami
8-10 cories
2 rams

You could add another schooling fish. Make sure it is something along the same aggression line as the serpaes, like black widows, phantom tetras, or danios. I wouldn't choose anything slow like neons or cardinals.

Maybe a school of Rummynose tetras would work. They are very peaceful though, unlike Serpaes. I think a school of 8 would be ok.

No angels unless you get rid of the Serpaes.

angels they would look really cool

They wouldn't look very cool with their fins shredded. They would look terrible, dude.

The danios would work out fine. They are very active and would get along good with the Serpaes.

I think you could fit 8 danios in there. And a few ottos if you want. Just make sure you have some algae there first. They need a constant supply.

I would buy about 4 or 5 to start with. You will probably lose atleast one.

If you are going to plant the tank with live plants...I would wait until the planting is finished to add the ottos. They seem to do a little better in planted tanks.
