So_Very_Sneaky![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Ultimate Fish Guru Posts: 3238 Kudos: 2272 Votes: 201 Registered: 10-Mar-2004 ![]() | Well, seeings I know of your previous interests in the fish world, may I suggest to you the following! 6-8 Corydoras yourchoiceas (i like aggassizi, trilineatus, pandas, bandits, daintys, salt n peppers, peppered, and aenus bronze n albino all very nice) 6 Cory or perhaps a smaller loach like dario, yoyo, or polka dot, or a nice 6-8 inch size pleco like an inspector, gold nugget, zebra, king tiger etc. 1 Gold Gourami or Blue Gourami or Opaline Gourami 4 Pearl Gourami (1 male 3 females) 10 Cardinal Tetras 10 Tetra of your choice 2 Bolivian Rams 2 Blue German Rams Lots of live plants and a bubbler and voila! Magni-fique! I think that would be a good start to hold you in good stead! Then, if you havent got the other tank fully stocked already, you may choose to change your tank plans and go with more of a "little fish" tank, or "tetra only" or guppies or something of the like! South America - 2 Blue Rams, 8 Cories of choice, 10 Cardinal tetras, 4 otos, and 2 Angelfish. Central America - 2 Honduran Red Points (convicts), 4 otos, and leave room for LOTS of babies. Asian - 4 or more Kuhli loaches, 14 Harlequin Rasboras, 4 Gouramis of choice. Just a few ideas. BTW, that sounds like a ton of fish to me as most gourami's reach around 5", don't they? By my rough calculations, that's 91" of fish. I know you don't do the 1" gallon rule except for fish 2" or under, so that makes the difference even larger. IMO, the stocking plan w/ the cories, gourami, tetras, and rams would be greatly overstocking a tank even if it does have like plants.
