First no clowns. Second no gouramis, angels, bettas in with tiger barbs. The rainbow will be ok. And one set of loaches 5 kuhlis or 3 dojos. Pick one I wouldn't get both.

the khuli loaches will not bother anything. tiger barbs may bother other fish, but 10 should be enough to keep any nipping to within their school. the clown loaches are an iffy, and the shark may be depending on its temperment. hiding places, water flow, lighting- so many aspects come into to play. given enough hiding places, the k-loaches may hardly ever be seen.

you seem to have alot of bottom feeders for that tank.

If anything, i would get 3 YoYo loaches (to make it as least stocked at the bottom as possible)

I do not think clown loaches should be in a 55g. I know others will disagree so that's up to you but do realize these fish can potentially reach over 9" and most say they do best in a school of at least 6. If you really want both the yoyos and the kuhli get at least 4yoyo and 3kuhli. In small groups yoyo have been known to show aggression and kuhli can be quite shy if they feel alone. My yoyo spend alot of time dashing around the tank so I wouldn't say they only take up bottom feeder space. My cory school easily has enough room on the bottom. Then I would choose 1 schooling fish such as either the barbs or the neon tetras and 2dwarf or 1large gourami. The barbs may nip fins so they might not be a good choice with any gouramis in the tank. I don't know whether your shark will get along or not since I've never kept these fish. All this depends on your tank setup and filtration as well.

Clown loaches need more room than in a fully stocked 55 gallon, leave them out of the stocking list and it shouldn't be too bad of a list...

PM/email/msg me if you have any questions/comments regarding me or my knowledge or if you want me to read a thread.
