 | 5 gallon canadian... |
kelso Fingerling Posts: 43 Kudos: 34 Votes: 0 Registered: 01-Sep-2004   | Lol well i was talkin to my dad about the whole 5 gallons american whatever and i found out that american gallons and canadian gallons are diff...supposedly my tank is around 8 gallons american..instead of 5. So my question is how much difference does the extra 3 gallons make? My tank is about 16x10x8, so it is longer then its height...if that makes any sense. I do have 3 zebra danios, 3 male guppies, 2 albino cories and a shrimp in my tank. |

solublefish    Fish Addict Posts: 562 Kudos: 850 Votes: 40 Registered: 27-Feb-2004  | Well, if your tank is 16 by 10 by 8 inches, it is about 5.5 gallons (I used the tank volume calculator on the site). Since you have a lot of fish for a 5 gallon, your tank being 8 gallons would have made it a little better. I don't mean to be coming down on you or being nasty, but you might have to rethink some of your fish selections for your tank. |
