oldpro Fingerling Posts: 31 Kudos: 18 Votes: 8 Registered: 27-Nov-2006 | I was surfing around the net, and found this nice little web site about moss.....yes, I am in love with Java moss, because it is just so cool!!!! On this site they have a cool way to catch SAEs. I think it is the solution to my dojo loach relocation project(top secret....well...not any more ) Here is the site=home page=http://www.aquamoss.net/=and the cool catching thing= SAE.htm" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">http://www.aquamoss.net/Articles/Catching-SAE.htm Look around and see if you like it as much as I did. (ps.if the 2nd link doesn't work, go to the home page and click on Articles.) "I am who I am, and who I am is who I want to be." -Kasey Carter |

I wish forums could show how many hits they get...just something I think would make people feel better, knowing that at least someone looked at there posts, but didn’t feel the need to leave a reply. I’m just typing what’s going thru my head... "I am who I am, and who I am is who I want to be." -Kasey Carter |

I can always catch the wrong fish with a net. edit: For some reason you can't make it a clickable link....so just copy and paste if you want to see it. |

It says on that page (the one covering the baited trap that is) that SAEs will demolish Java Moss in a short space of time. In that case, how come I still have a big ball of the stuff extant in my second aquarium, thus far showing no signs whatsoever of being unduly molested by the SAEs? Mine are showing every sign, on the other hand, of expressing a very healthy interest in the algae present. Anyone else had SAEs munch on Java Moss? |
