But, there are some abbreviations that us 'newbies' may not quite get. Is there someone who can give a brief defination of all of them? Like NIC, LFS, MTS, etc. Thanks in advance. AGAIN..lol  And what is my "Karma" listed next to my name?[span class="edited"][Edited by CyndieL73 2004-08-11 14:08][/span] |

Posts: 2266 Kudos: 2194 Votes: 19 Registered: 18-Nov-2003 | NIC = New Improved Cycle, a bacteria similar to bio-spira, which jump starts the nitrogen cycle LFS = Local Fish Store, alternately LCS (local chain store), LCPS (local chain pet store, etc. MTS = Can be either Malaysian Trumpet Snail or Multiple Tank Syndrome, which is the non-technical term for those of us who MUST have MORE tanks...  Hmm... there was a thread a while back asking about abbreviations... a different one from the one Vic listed.
