I know everyone is just about sick of my questions, but im hoping someone will have patience to answer one more.

i have a (roughly)22" tall by 24" long by 13" deep(roughly) 29 gallon. very tall, very narrow. current stock is 6 lemon tetras,7 corys,1 bolivian ram.

is there anything i can add that wont have anger issues with the occupants? i moved my dwarf gourami to a 10 because of it being a bit to fiesty with the ram and tetras, and i dont want a repeat of it. I have a beta in a 2 gal tank, tried floating him in the 29 gal, and he was fighting the bag to get at the lemons, so thats out.

i want a small school of 3 or less tiny fish or one centerpiece fish that likes to hang out at the top of the aquarium.

tank stats: softish water, 7.0 ph,79 degrees. two aquaclear 50s OBF,and a dual airpump system to help with surface gas excahnge(compensation for the very tall tank).

is there anything that comes to anyones mind that is either a 3" or under centerpiece, or a school of 3 small fish that hang out at the surface?

some sort of panchax killie could be nice in a tank like that. i have a golden wonder killie in my tank and it is very peaceful towards other species, but it will attack other male killies voraciously. i made the mistake of buying two males and the larger male killed the smaller male in no time. i found that golden wonder killies are common at petco, and sell for around $3-4. the only downsides to this fish are that it grows to around 4" (but they dont need such a large tank as they arent very active) and it will eat slim-bodied fish under one inch when full grown.

while him eating smaller fish isnt a problem as my lemon tetras are pretty big, couple of them pushing 2.25", i do worry about size, i dunno that a 4" fish will be happy in such a small tank as i have, its basically two 15 gallon tanks stacked on top of eachother, very tall, but not long at all.
