I heard they should have a well covered top with no possible means of escape or they will. A few people on here have them. I'm sure they will be along soon to tell you what you need to know.

i have one in a 45 gallon tank, its a south american set up and the frog is doing fine, i think it can pretty much adapt to most setups, aslong as the water current is not too strong or deep. they need to get air. mine never jumps out of the tank, but make sure u have a good cover, they pretty much eat anything anything that gets left over in the bottom.
i hope that helps lol

I have had ADFs for years and despite what you read online mine have always eaten flake no problem (though they do love frozen blood worms) , have never had any issues with water conditions, and I have never had any get out of the tank which has several inches uncovered. These frogs are a great addition to a community tank. In my 29 I keep 4 of the little guys.

For me they have honestly been a "put in your tank and enjoy" type of critter.

They do seem to enjoy lots of plants and caves (including floating plants). They hang out in my floating wysteria a lot.
