Well I am considering planting my fish tank, but I am worried about my fish stocking. I have a ten gallon, with one betta, two cherry barbs, and four khuli loaches. (They are black khuli loaches with no stripes and should grow to around 4 inches or so each). Should I trade them in for say long finned danios? (about 5-6) or oto fish? (2-3) or is my tank fine as is? And will the khulis uproot any plants that I plant in there?

your tank is fine how it is. And i dont know anything about khulis so i cant answer that question. Ur tank maybe a tad overstocked but as long as u clean the taank often and dont overfeed youll be ok

The Khuli's wont uproot any plants. I'm sure they will enjoy hiding amongst them.

Those who say they cant, Never will !!!

As Fishkid99 said, your tank is fine.

If you exchange the loaches for danios, you risk crowding the upper-middle part of the tank, which could lead to some aggression.
Also, the flowy fins of the danios might prime the betta for a fight.

Alright coolie I didn't really want to trade them in for anything else unless I had to, as I am rather fond of the khulis

I have had my betta with fancy guppies in the past though, so I don't think it would be a problem? But I really don't want to get danios if I don't have to as said above. Thanks for the help guys ^_^

The loaches will be hiding everywhere they can so they wont take up much except the bottom.
