Way back before FP when I wasn't into cichlids or anything with a relativley long lifespan, I would always get new fish because the old ones would die off, not from mistreatment, but just from old age. Now, nothing I have has died in nearly 8 months. Livebarers included. I now find myself wanting new fish, but I have no where to put them without buying new tanks! I could trade them in to the LFS, but then u worry about these fish that u loved are going to a kid with a 2 gallon hex and he wants a Jack Dempsey. Anyway, I am going to purchase a 75g very soon and stock it with fish that I already have and then get some new babies.

There's a sales section somewhere in this site, one of the mods can probably find you the link (cause I'm lazy like that). Personally, I'd just buy more tanks. However, I'm an addict with a bad sense of spending, so if you're lacking the dough, check around for reliable consumers.

You will probably be able to get another cichlid in there too

Ooo good thing you can afford more tanks and have room for them! My mom won't let me get any more (even though my featherfin syno needs one) because:

1. it's hard to find room anymore
2. She doesn't want to take care of the tank while I'm at school

OMG! i think i'm getting tms too. i was actually kind of glad when i had to separate my male betta from my community fish, because that meant that he had to get his own home. But I can't get anymore tanks, because 1.) i might have to pay for them myself (but my bday is coming up soon), 2.) i might change my mind 3.) i'm going to college in a year

I must disagree with Dr. Timothy's diagnosis. I don't think you are suffering from MTS. I think you have tank expansionitis. Know how matter big it gets, it is not big enough. Some of like lots of tanks and some like a single big tank. Oh, and a pond also

First off, I already breed Jack Dempseys. Secondly, when I get the 75 or 125 depending on how much money I have saved, They will go in there and I might get an oscar, and some other americans. I feel like getting a red belly piranha I saw at the lfs the other day. :%) So many Ideas not enough tanks.
