i noticed a couple of days ago that there was i slight rip in the tail and part if it missing from my fancy guppy. first i throught it was the angel as he is becoming very aggresvie with age, but i've only ever seen him chase the honey gourami and one of the swordtails.

but this morning i noticed that when the guppy swam into the middle part of the tank all 11 H. rasbora chased him they all surrounded him until he could get into the thick planted area. why have my fish become so angry? i've never noticed anything like it before.

what should i do???

I would suggest removing that guppy to another more compatible tank.

I aqree with angelzoo that you remove the guppy
Question: how big is your tank?
and how big is your angel?
If your tank is to small yor H. rasbora's will slowly get eaten along with guppies.

the tank is around 40g 36x15x24.

the rasbora are fully grown far to big to be eaten by the angel and so are the guppies. the angel is about 2in long not including tail 4-5 inches tall, including all fins.

thainks for replies. shekoi

Is there any female guppies in the tank?
My only thought would be if you have no females, male guppies get very irate with one another and other fish.

I think you will need to move the guppy to a different tank. It may just be that the Rasboras want to bully it for all you know.
