20 gallon high

6 X-ray tetras
4 Emerald Cories
1-2 German Blue Rams

The tank just came off a fishless cycle and I've put in the tetras, but not the cories or rams. I'm worried that I'll have too many fish in mid-to-bottom water and that having a blue ram pair would result in annoyance to the rest of the fish as they strive to keep a territory. I'd really like to have a pair of blue rams if possible, and I don't object to the idea of doing a bit of aquascaping to make sure everyone is happy - say, by providing some kind of artificial barrier to encourage the rams to pick a territory on one side of it and stay there.

Is this likely to be a problem? If it is, what should I do?

[font color="#000080"]the only "problem" i see is that you have a tall tank,
means you won't have much surface area/bottom area
and most of your fish are just about bottom dwellers
your stock list will be good if you have a 20 long

try do swap some of your bottom dwellers for some surface fish
