But nothing can really stay in a newts tank, since they need to get out of the water. |

As a matter of fact he's in there right now. He will go back in his terrarium tomorrow, he takes 'vacations' in the tank til i get him his friend this weekend! I bought a lilly pad for him to bask on and he loved it. The only reason i took him out is b/c i was told that he could excrete poison into my tank and kill my fish BUT i've since read that they are only poisonous if you eat them. Anyway, that is my experience w/my fire belly baby.... Good luck and let us know what you decide! Robin |
