I was searching around on the internet recently and noticed that there is aqaurium software available. All I have been able to find was programs compatible with Windows 98 but not really anything for Windows XP. Any help with this subject would be helpful. Thank you all to anyone who has comments/suggestions.

Give it a shot, XP might be able to run it, as they're both 32 bit os's. If not, it was a free download.

horselvr8495,

I have no answer for you, but I am very curious as to what kind of software you are referring to.

Is it like a scheduler that helps you to remember when to do what to your tank? Or is it a manual that shows how to maintain a tank?

Thanks in advance,

Ingo

horselvr8495,

I use a piece of software call ReefCon LT. It works just fine on XP. I use it to track my tanks. It lets you keep track of your stock, water parameters, and maintenance tasks. They have a free version and a pay version. The free version has full functionality, but the pay version lets you store pictures, and download fish profiles. It looks like it was geared for Marine setups but I use it with my freshwater tanks with out a problem.

Here is the link http://www.infinitysoft.net/ReefCon/

I have a program called MSA Aquarist, but haven't really tried it yet. Might be useful:
