Usually alittle salt is good. flakes are usually taken by these fish. edit: o and breeding is the same as other mollies i believe, however i also think that most of the fry of ballon mollies dont make it or are very un hardy. (might not be true, but thats what i read) |

The Parents are highly cannabilistic(sp). They are all highly e to diseases due to their Morph. They breed easily while females have fully opened anal fins the males in a sexual organ called the genopodium(sp.. again). Good Luck! Hope I helped! Chris |

Have no interest in breeding, might be fun for the kids though, just dont want the tank set off wack. I was told that they breed easy like guppies, this is true? will it upset the tank ? I have upsidedown catfish. 5 lemon tetras, 6 cherry barbs and the 3 mollies. bye and tks again Sue |

bettachris Ultimate Fish Guru Posts: 3875 Kudos: 4173 Votes: 452 Registered: 13-Jun-2004 | the other fishes will probably eat all of the fry so i wouldn't worry about overstocking due to breeding. |

I've only had a problem with two that i've gotten, but they were a lot smaller than you normally see and were emaciated when i got them. They had a small amount of ich, but recovered nonetheless!! |
