White Sturgeons. They can reach 20' and can live up to and possibly over 100 years old. That's crazy. A few hours from where I live are places to catch these fish, not full grown ones though, or atleast i've never seen a 20 foot one caught in magazines or anywhere.

White sturgeons can hit 17' and 1600 lbs, but as noted, spend a portion of their life in brackish-marine conditions. There is also a lake in SA that has the world's only known breeding population of fully FW bull sharks.

Pangasianodon gigas is the catfish claimed as the world's largest freshwater fish. This catfish, and the arapaima are both smaller than some sturgeon species but the larger sturgeon specimens spend some time in marine and brackish waters.

It depends are you talking about total length or weight?
