	Black Lights?
BeastKeeper Big Fish Posts: 444 Kudos: 389 Votes: 47 Registered: 27-Apr-2004	my friend just got a 15usg tank and this will be his first. but he told me that he was going to use black lights to light the aquarium. i was told that black lights make the fish go blind! is this true? or his fish safe?

thatweirdguy19 Small Fry Posts: 12 Kudos: 9 Votes: 0 Registered: 02-May-2004	A friend of mine uses a black light: My advice is that if he isn't going to get fish that glow, don't get one. The colors of the fish are so hidden behind the black light. You're almost better off without a light at all.
