This is a stupid question, but I don't know...

Is there any advantages between blood worms and brine shrimps?

Does my

Guppies, Tetras, African Dwarf Frogs, Hong Kong Plecos, and Singapore Shrimp

enjoy both blood worms and brine shrimps?

I don't really think there's any real advantage at all between the two. I assume some species will prefer different things?

We use bloodworm and brineshrimp in our tanks. With bloodworm being the main food, due to the price difference between the two.

Guppies and tetras will eat pretty much anything you put in there. Pleco's I think are generally vegetable matter only (algae wafers). as for your frog and shrimp, I have no idea at all?

I feed my fish (which include guppys and a couple species of tetra) both frozen brine shrimp and frozen blood worms, but not at the same time I have a rotation between those 2 foods and a couple varieties of flakes.

I believe the "Hong Kong pleco" is actually a hillstream loach. As I'm reading through my Google findings, that's the idea I'm getting. They'll eat any green algae that grows in your tank, and I'm sure they'd love to munch on some algae wafers. You could also try green veggies like lettuce and cucumber, but I'm not for sure how they'd react to it.

The frogs should eat the bloodworms and shrimp too.

I'm not really sure about the shrimp, though I would assume that they eat algae

I have always heard that the nutrition value of the blood worms is higher than brine shrimp. I have never heard from an authorative figure, though.

the protien content of bloodworms is higher, it depends what you are after. BS will help increase colour intensity and clear the gut, Bloodwoorms will help with muscle repair/ conditioning and will sometimes bind the gut.

varying the diet helps overcome the shortfalls of both foods.
