ANy one have any ideas, I have 3 fingers crossed i have 1 female, how do i sex somehting i don't see very often, what conditions do they prefer for breeding etc,

ANy help appreciated

Breeding is not easy and you will need some luck. From what i have heard: well cycled tank, fine sand on the bottom, pH slightly on acidic side, soft water. They often like laying eggs on plants growing on the surface. Not too crowded tank and good varied diet. When the females will get very fat and greenish in the belly (they have green eggs) possibilities are there. Weekly water changes (say 25-40%)with treated water will help.
