 | Brown Stuff on plants Identified |
tetratech  Ultimate Fish Guru Posts: 4241 Kudos: 1074 Registered: 04-Nov-2003   | I have loose brown stuff on most of my plants in my tank. It shakes off when I move plant, but comes right back. Many people thought it was diatoms or simply waste material, but I finally fiqured out it is tiny pieces of driftwood. I have alot of malaysian driftwood in my tank and tiny pieces are coming off and setting around the tank. I belive the three plecos I have (albino, candystripe, snowball) are causing the problem.
