I have a 125 gal tank. So far, have 7 Pearl Gouramies, 12 Cories..will be adding a few female betta splendens, maybe 5 Glass Catfish..some Ottos..Maybe a few long finned Black Tetras..
Would an Angel or 2 (if I get two, they will be same sex..if I end up with a pair, I'll trade out till I get 2 same sex I don't want breeding Angels) be OK with these other very peaceful fish?
Also don't want anything that might eat potential Cory eggs or Pearl Gouramie fry..
is this asking too much?

If you get enough of the long-fin black skirts (if any) that they are not too nippy (at least 7), it should be fine. But an angel would definitely eat pearl gourami fry or cory eggs... but those would get eaten anyway in that setup. If you wanted to breed any of the above, you would have to set up a breeding tank for it. Community tanks aren't good places to breed fish without the fry or eggs being eaten.

It Should work flawlessly. ANd that must look awsome with that many pearl gouramis in there. Drop the black finn. Stay away from skirts or serpeas any of the color morphs. They have been known to be fin nippers. ANd get at least 6 or 7 betta females. They are awsome fish and they deserve a better place than that dang cup. I have 2 fm and one male and they are awsome fish.

I have decided to drop the tetras. I had also considered a school of Hatchetfish instead..but LFS says they ALWAYS come in with ick. AND now that I think of it..when I had this a community a few years ago and got some hatchets..they came down with ick then when I brought them home. The Pearls do look awesome...and they are still so young. Can't wait till they really start coloring up. They school extremely well..before when I had 5 Pearls in here they didn't do it so much. Angel will come last anyway, because the LFS only has a few now and they are not the color I want. The color I would like, that I saw before (a 7" at LFS and fell in love with) is like white with goldish specks on the fins..very opalescent looking. The LFS gets them in as 1" babies btw. OH I did ad 12 Ottos yesterday. Was going for 10..but the Otto tank at LFS had 12 so I took the other 2 not wanting to leave them alone. I have 3 bettas now, 2 reg. and one double tail . Just waiting to put them in when I have some time to sit and watch. Had female bettas in here before (and one male at a time, I'd rotate out with my various male bettas in little tanks). The females always got HUGE.

I have never had problems with Black Skirts to be fin-nippers, and I only had two (this was in the primitive beginnings of my hobby).

BTW, most parents will eat their own fry and eggs, so I wouldn't just be worrying about the other fish you may want to add, but the fish that are breeding as well!

In a 125 gallon tank, I would get more Glass Catfish. They're really cool, and people coming to see your tank will think so too.

I agree with shinigami, get some more glass cats, I think a school of 10 or 12 of those guys would look so awesome.
I reccomend purchasing a larger angel than a tiny baby. IME 80% of those tiny little "rowboats" as I call em cuz of the way they swim, though super cute, die. I went through that very unhappily as one little rowboat died. I then waited a while, and purchased one that was almost 50 cent peice size. Now hes the size of a small saucer and healthier than can be. Its really worth the money to get a larger angel, you will be happier, it will survive, and then you dont have to go through the tragedy of finding a tiny angel zooming around your tank on its side or twirling like a leaf in the breeze when its dying. Just a suggestion though.

i've had bad experiences with an angelfish beating up on gouramis, and i advise not keeping both. but that was in a 55g. my father tried keeping an angel and a blue gourami in a 29g with even worse occurrences. but in a 125g, it might not be a problem. just be wary. pearls are such pushovers.
