I will be moving soon and obviously want to keep as much water as possible. I was wondering I have some empty 20L Jugs (for lack of a better word) that I bought with pre-mixed saltwater in them. Can I just rinse out the empty ones and use them to transport some of the water? Or do I have to so something to them to make them safe?

Really the only thing to avoid in this case would be metal or tin containers. As long as the plastic containers are well rinsed and have no soap residue, you're fine. Plastic ice chests with lids can also work well.

Yup, those containers should be fine. As long as they have not had chemicals in them, and any soap, saltwater, residue, etc. has been rinsed out, they will suffice.
