	Capacity?
moose Fingerling Posts: 47 Kudos: 43 Votes: 1 Registered: 24-May-2004	Hi all, ive asked this before, but now i have some different fish so just wondering if in a 125 litre tank (which is approx 33 american gal and 30 english gal), is this a sufficient or over stocked amount of fish for a 10-15% weekly water change? 1 Fighting fish 1 Dwarf Gourami (want to get a female 1 to replace 1 that just died, can i?) 2 Opaline gourami 1 Golden gourami 7 Neons 2 Ottos 4 Platies (including 1 baby) 3 guppys 2 small black mollies Thanks in advance moose

moose Fingerling Posts: 47 Kudos: 43 Votes: 1 Registered: 24-May-2004	i always have to say this but my fighting fish is the biggest wimp i've ever seen, seriously he isnt bothered by anything at all, not even at feeding time! Im not really looking to add anything but is that the right amount? more or less?

niggit Fish Addict Posts: 631 Kudos: 282 Votes: 0 Registered: 29-Jan-2003	it never hurts to be understocked... and at this point i think you're in pretty good shape. the only thing that concerns me is that most gourami males are very territorial (both same and inter species) so i'm with the others in suggesting that if you'd like to add more fish to go with some more small schoolers like neons, ottos, or even a group of cories. sounds like a nice tank otherwise!
