Pearls are peaceful and very pretty. Or how about a pair of rams? Very colorful fish. I'd go with Germans if you can find them. Bolivians would be great too though. |

My only concerned about a pair of rams is my cories are all over the place and may tend to go near a breeding ground. Other than that might sound like a possiblity. As far as gourami I was considering but that would be my last choice |

If you go with a gourami, I'd get one in the 4-5 inch range. What about a male betta? I know that sounds like a common choice, but it could work with the fish you have. Or how about a school for a centerpiece, like some hatchetfish. You could fit 6 in your tank and they would stay at the surface. I don't think rams would hurt your cories. They may chase them away if they breed, but they shouldn't hurt them. Cories would definitely go after ram eggs, so they will just guard the eggs, shouldn't do any damage. |
