I'd just avoid regular neons, like mentioned above, as they are the natural prey of angels in the wild. I keep rummynose, flame (von rios), and head and tailights with my 2 angels with no problems. The Cockatoo cichlids you are talking about are Apistos and they should do fine in your tank. They are beautiful fish. So you are looking at danios, upside down cats, cherry barbs, apistos, and maybe angels? Then you could have a shoal of cories for the bottom and another school (tetras or rasboras)...then you'd be stocked. *Kristin*
