Well, I still haven't completed my 32 gallon tank. It has been a busy month for me and I can't decide on what fish to put in. Currently, I have 6 black neons, 6 danios which I am moving out of the tank, and 3 blue cories (I had 6 but 3 died). Anyways, I am going to put 3 ottos in there, and I am going to get 3 more cories and maybe 2 black neons. Now what else can I add?

What do you like? You can get a school of cardinals, i think they'd look nice in there

When I see cardinals, they're at atrocious prices for some reason, so neons may be a good decision, too. You seem to have lots of small fish, how about a medium-ish fish to balance things out?

What type of centre piece fish do you want.

I'll recomemend a pair of Blue or Bolivian Rams. They have great personalities.
Another good option would be a dwarf Gourami. Dwarf Gouramis have great colur, are peaceful and they stay small.

Also Cardinals in my opinion are one of the best looking tetras, so consider them as a option as well.

You could have a gourami (one of the smaller ones), a pair of dwarf cichlids, another school of tetras, some kind of dwarf pleco, a school of small-ish barbs (like gold barbs), etc. It all depends on what you like. Head on down to your lfs, or cruise the profiles here, and see what you like.

I've beem through this many times and I can't decide. I am going to the lfs tomorrow to look. I either want a school of cardinals, or a centrepiece fish like a ram, angel (well the angel woulnd't quite fit would it unless i got a juvenille and maybe move it out when it grows) or a gourami of some sort. I don't really know what would go best and I'm not sure if any of the lfs here have rams

Actually, an angelfish would fit in that tank. Also, it probably would not eat the black neon tetras, or cardinals if you add them too. I think you'd be okay with an angelfish.

I think I am going with the angel then. I've been reading a lot of mixed info about angels but I think I am going for one. Should I get a juvenille then, since my neons have been in there for a few months? I also have a problem with the danios. No one will take them and I do not have any other tanks.

Yeah, that would be for the best. Small angelfish are unable to eat tetras, and will not feel the need to once they've grown up. If you add an adult angelfish, then your tetras may well become an expensive snack!

Yeah I agree, a juvenile Angelfish would fit in real well.
